Streetsville Terry Fox Run - Sunday, September 19th

We all know someone who has either been touched by cancer, lived through it, or possibly died from the terrible disease. The Terry Fox run was inspired by a dream. It's grounded in tradition, and it's volunteer driven.

Streetsville Lion's Club is founded in the same ideals, and we are proud to support this annual event each September.

We are asking for you to reach out to your family and your friends, and bring them down to the Vic Johnston Community Centre Sunday September 19th and help this community raise awareness and funds to support this 30 yr. old dream.

This year's event will run from Sept. 14th to Oct. 8th.

This is a great day to bring the kids downtown to enjoy an afternoon hayride, face painting and fresh-shucked corn on the cob. The most special part of Fall Festival is the kick-off to this season’s “A Taste of Downtown Oakville” with a day of appreciation of the finer things: fine wine, art and gastronomically pleasing delights.
