Life with Kids. There's nothing better and there's nothing like it. Having one, two or more little ones running/crawling around means you're busy. So when you do get some time to yourself, you want to make the best of it. That's the idea behind lifewithkids.ca

It's a website developed by some Mums who were tired of endless web searches to find things to do with and for their children. Lifewithkids.ca is your one stop source to find activity groups, child friendly businesses and restaurants, advice from other parents and things like where to get your childs haircut.

Lifewithkids.ca is an online community for parents. We look forward to hearing your stories and sharing advice and experiences with all of you about the fantastic reality that is LIFE WITH KIDS.

As a busy Mother and homemaker I constantly juggled my day in order to achieve a balance which included research on a daily basis for the needs of my little girl as well as trying to carry out normal household duties. I was always asking friends and acquaintances where do I find this and where do I find that and one day it occurred to me that there are a million young moms like me asking the same questions so I decided that I would try to find the answers to all my questions and share them with you. " Life With Kids" was born and we have just celebrated our fourth year. The enthusiasm amongst our members just keeps growing stronger and stronger every day.

Our program has grown to incorporate events for members to participate in, fashion shows, fundraising events and especially girls night out. These evenings have become so popular that we will be organizing them on a regular basis. We love to hear from our members especially if there is anything you would like us to include. All ideas are welcome and are considered very carefully. We love to hear from you.

We are currently expanding in order to bring more information to you about what is going on in your area and surrounding areas. Our family at Life With Kids is all about helping you and your family enjoy all that is available to enrich your time with your kids and very precious family time and, of course, to make Mom feel special at the end of the day with some fabulous upcoming events just for her.

So you want to know a little about me…..well, first and foremost I am a very proud mom of 2 wonderful children!  They are the light of my life….when we’re not dealing with melt downs!!  Come on, I know you know what I’m talking about!

Now for the other part of my life, I am a graduate of McMaster University (too many years ago to mention!), I attended Sheridan College for a post graduate certificate course in Marketing and am licensed through IIROC as Registered Representative.  Most of my career pre and post children was spent in the securities brokerage business and financial advisory with 2 major banks.  When the struggle to balance work and family became too challenging, I left my career to stay home and be with my 2 most favourite people in the world – my kids!  This was a difficult choice for me and it didn’t come without its sacrifices but it was the right choice for me, my kids and my family and I have NO REGRETS!

My new life, post corporate world, has brought me to become a real estate investor, an avid reader and I enjoy swimming, entertaining, volunteering to name a few interests.

Joining Life With Kids just compliments my greatest love, my kids and family.  If I can help other moms and families find more time, find more fun and time together, then joining this team will have been so worth while.  I look forward to getting to know all of you a lot more and hearing your great stories, sharing laughs and creating memories…cheers!!

As a full time working mom, I’ve always had to find resources, activities and places to keep my vibrant kids entertained and engaged (7 year old & 4 year old). I found myself running to the computer searching for helpful information. I stumbled across Life With Kids about 2 years ago while I was surfing the internet trying to find a place to go to with the kids over one weekend. I first become a fan, then, a member. I have also attended an amazing Girls Night Out event last year. It was a great opportunity for moms to meet, communicate, and exchange ideas & trends.

I’ve been living in Mississauga for the last 8 years and call it home. I have always wanted to help my community and especially fellow moms. I have recently found out that Life With Kids is expanding and I had to jump into the opportunity to help other moms in my community and bring them the information they need to enjoy their lives with their kids.

I met Emma when she came to speak at a moms group that I attended with my youngest child. As she was presenting how she came up with the concept of Life With Kids, I experienced one of those “Why didn’t I think of that?!” moments. Luckily I heard Life With Kids was looking for a sales rep, and over 2 years later, here I still am! I have lived in Oakville for a greater part of my life, and currently reside in Burlington.

After deciding not to return to work with my oldest child, I have a real appreciation for all that this area has to offer moms with their kids. As a mother of a 4 old and a 2 year old, I have found Life With Kids to be invaluable, I hope you find this site as helpful as I have!

I am the mother of 2 wonderful kids (Age 5 and 2) who definitely keep me busy and on my toes!  I went to McMaster University for my undergrad and completed my MBA from the University of Windsor.  I worked for TD Bank for 5 years before moving to Boston with my husband so he could complete his studies.  I worked at one of the local banks there for a year and then I had my son.  Let's just say maternity leave in the US is less than desirable and after I was told that I had 2 months off before I needed to return to work, I left the corporate world and never looked back.  As my kids have become older, I've been looking to return to work, but not in a full time position.  Life with Kids offers me just the right role.  And I find the site absolutely amazing and so resourceful.  As a busy mom, I know how hard it is to be able to find resources and activities available to your family.  Life with Kids offers just that.  I hope you will find this site as helpful as I have.
