Welcome to Kathy & Kim Originals! We were thrilled to launch our website just this August and we currently offer eco friendly aluminum water bottles, ceramic mugs and stainless steel travel mugs that are all personalized with names, sayings and designs and our customers choose the colours, fonts and designs and then we create original pieces. Recently we introduced the Princess Charming Collection of hand stamped, custom sterling silver necklaces and bracelets onto our site. These gorgeous pieces are unique and original and are intended to celebrate the relationships in your life.

We met through our oldest children about 7 years ago when they were just a years old. Sometimes you just click with people right away but once you have kids that seems to be especially true. When you meet the people who are like minded in their approach to kids and family you tend to gravitate to spending time with them. When we met our two boys, then such little guys quickly became the best of buds. Over the years our families grew close and grew bigger! We each had a second child and today those two are more like siblings then friends!! Today we enjoy spending time together, travelling together and of course shopping together!! Most Mom's have that friend with whom they share all the great deals they find and for us that is each other!!

Naturally the decision came to turn our passion for finding fun and practical products for our own families into a family-oriented business!! Aiming to create funky yet functional products for the whole family we strive to bring you only the best quality items. Our launch just this past August began with drink accessories and jewelry but we plan to expand to clothing, bags and so much more in the near future! We hope that on our website you will find that 'gotta have it' piece maybe you didn't even know you were looking for!!

Before launching Kathy and Kim Originals each of us have had busy careers that kept us working outside the home. Kathy owned retail business and Kim had a ten year career as a Montessori teacher. Since the birth of our second children Kathy embarked on a new career in real estate and Kim co-wrote the book "Seven Hands, Seven Lands" and published it under Roots and Wings Books (www.rootsandwingsbooks.ca). With Kathy and Kim Originals we are hoping to strike that perfect balance between home and work so we can walk the kids to school in the morning, host play dates after school and work in between! Of course this means lots of late night work sessions once the kids are in bed but at least we like our co-workers!!

In addition to our website our bottles and mugs are available at HOUSEWARMINGS in downtown Oakville and have formed some great relationships through wholesale purchases from various other retail outlets in Ontario.
