Life with three kids under the age of five can be crazy and pairing that with the start up of a new business can mean a lot of chaos - but Louise and Jonathan wouldn’t have it any other way.

Dr. Jonathan Britton and his wife Louise, a freelance journalist, are the proud parents of Noelle, Seth and Paige and have lived in the area for the past two years. Having young children has meant being actively involved in the network of parents in the Halton region and has been a great help for creating Britton Orthodontics.

In December 2006, the doors opened to a brand new orthodontic practice in North Burlington. The goal was to create a warm and inviting environment that thoughtfully uses technology to ensure clients achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. Jonathan is a certified orthodontic specialist and provides personalized care for both children and adults.

Britton Orthodontics is a state-of-the art facility, integrating advanced sterilization and computer technology. A private consultation room complements the bright open-concept clinic which also houses a digital x-ray unit. Digital x-ray technology allows for reduced radiation exposure for clients and is more environmentally friendly. Computer terminals at each treatment chair allow efficient usage of a chartless office system and client’s digital records are available to view with the click of a mouse.

After graduating from Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario and working for two years in the Hamilton area, Jonathan completed a Masters degree and specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Toronto. Recently, Jonathan was excited to accept a position at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where he now works as a part-time staff orthodontist caring for children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial problems.

Britton Orthodontics is conveniently located at the corner of Walker’s Line and Dundas Street (Longo’s plaza) in North Burlington in the growing area of Alton Village. The practice is only a short drive from northwest Oakville and Waterdown. A referral from a dentist is not necessary and initial consultations are complimentary.
